This is an agreement between THE PAINTED UNICORN and CLIENT. No changes can be made to this contract unless signed and agreed upon by both parties.


The photographs of our paintings and of our events taken from this website may not be reproduced or shared in any manner without THE PAINTED UNICORN's explicitly written permission or unless credit to us and a link back to this website are marked. Images from our Blog is shareable and we are happy to share these images and posts.

All paintings and processes produced by THE PAINTED UNICORN are protected by Federal Copyright Law and may not be reproduced for PROFIT in any manner.


THE PAINTED UNICORN will provide model release forms for individuals to use their images for website, portfolio, social media, trade shows and all advertising purposes as needed. No minors's recognizable facial features will be used unless release forms are signed by a parent or guardian.


In the unlikely event that the leading Artist is injured or becomes too ill, or has an extreme emergency that prevents them from photographing the session THE PAINTED UNICORN will make every effort to schedule a certified Painted Unicorn replacement artist or reschedule the session. If both CLIENT and THE PAINTED UNICORN cannot reschedule the session to a date in the near future, the retainer will be refunded, but can be used to book a future session.



Private Parties for Individuals and Families:


You can choose one of the following methods of payment:


$100 is due at time of booking. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER. In the event of cancellation, the retainer paid is non-refundable but may be used to reschedule. It may also be liquidated for damages to THE PAINTED UNICORN in the event of a cancellation or in the event of a breach of contract by the CLIENT. Payment can be made via Email money transfer or a cheque sent by mail at 1361 Una Way, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3C 2V.

The CLIENT shall also be responsible for payment of any THE PAINTED UNICORN materials/charges ordered up to time of cancellation.


The remaining amount and any extra painters may be added, which is due in full on the date of the session.

Ticket Sales:

The Painted Unicorn may sell tickets to your guests for convenience. This is especially good for Bachelorette Parties or private parties where guests are to pay for their own ticket. Please note that the Sales website collects an additional fee for this service that is added to THE PAINTED UNICORN's fees. The surcharge varies between $2-3 per ticket.

All tickets need to be paid for one week after this contract has been signed. The booking will be cancelled if tickets are not purchased within the time limit allowed. 

For Businesses, Organizations and Institutions:

$200 is due at time of booking. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER. In the event of cancellation, the retainer paid is non-refundable but may be used to reschedule. It ma be liquidated for damages to THE PAINTED UNICORN in the event of a cancellation or in the event of a breach of contract by the CLIENT. The CLIENT shall also be responsible for payment of any THE PAINTED UNICORN materials/charges ordered up to the time of cancellation. The remaining amount is due in full on the date of the session.
