A Splashing Kids' Paint Party

I've been on a bit of a hiatus from The Painted Unicorn, not because I don't love paint parties but because other parts of my life were calling for my attention. For one, I built my art studio! This is so exciting, I finally have a proper place to make my art! I did manage to squeeze in a few paint parties though and this one deserves a blog post. Imagine my surprise to enter the party room just to find a pool right next to the paint tables! It was a pool and paint party! The girls got to paint and take a dip in the pool during their breaks. It was such a cool venue!

You can't see much of the pool in my pics, but here's one where you can see the edge of the pool. Check out how close we were to the pool! And no, no paint made it in the water.

Some girls painted in their swimsuits. It was a total splash!

And of course, it's the end results that matter, and these were fantastic! But I always expect that, everyone is an artist in their own way. Love the expressive nature of these painters. The younger they are, the more carefree. Loved it!

So, if you ever feel torn about either throwing a pool party or a paint party, consider combining them! It was so much fun.
